Phoenix-area freeway reopens after police van crash injures nearly 20.
PHOENIX — A Phoenix-area freeway has reopened after a crash involving a police van injured nearly 20 people shut it down for a majority of the day Wednesday. There was no timetable for the freeway to reopen, but the Arizona Department of Transportation estimated at least “a few hours.” Drivers were encouraged to use a different route.
