Gunfire erupted inside a crowded Home Depot in Chelsea on Sunday afternoon, killing one person and sending droves of shoppers — stocking up for the impending snow storm — fleeing for their lives, law-enforcement sources said. Another witness heard someone scream “F–k you!” before the shots were fired at about 2:40 p.m. at the store on West 23rd Street between Fifth and Sixth avenues, sources said. Update, 3:25 p.m. – A police source told the New York Daily News that the shooter shot another man in aisle 12 of the store and then shot himself.According to the News, the shooter is dead; the status of his victim is “unclear.” A crowd of about 15 people were running near the store shouting “someone’s shooting, someone’s shooting,” according to a msnbc source at the scene.
