(NJ Advance Media file photo) NEWARK — A Linden woman faces charges of using pepper spray during a dispute that erupted as she was about to exit an airliner at Newark Liberty International Airport, authorities say.Two women brawled on a JetBlue flight landing at Kennedy Airport Wednesday morning — a fight that left a good Samaritan slashed and six passengers sickened by pepper spray fumes, officials said. Jean Ballentine, 61, of Brooklyn, who allegedly pulled out an eyebrow razor during the dispute, was charged with second-degree assault, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal mischief on Wednesday, Port Authority police said. As the three scuffled, Cannady pulled out a canister of mace and sprayed it at Ballentine, giving everyone nearby a dose of noxious chemicals, officials said.

Cannady retaliated with pepper spray and — with the door still closed — the fumes spread through the cabin filled with 179 passengers, Pentangelo said. The mother of an 8-year-old rape victim took the stand Wednesday against the accused predator — her former lover — and admitted she was in the room as the man attacked her daughter.
