3-Year-Old Safe After Abduction From Car In Salinas.

Jacky Valenzuela was in the back of a light gold 2002 Honda Odyssey that was left unattended and running in front of her family’s home in Salinas at 5:45 a.m. About 5:40 a.m., police said, her mother placed her in the minivan, started the engine to warm up the vehicle and returned to the house to retrieve her other daughter, the girl’s twin sister.Salinas, Ca – Authorities have issued an Amber Alert in the wake of the disappearance this morning of a 3-year-old Salinas girl identified as Jacky Valenzuela. Police found the car abandoned in north Salinas, a few miles from the family’s home, at around 8 a.m., said Sheldon Bryan, a commander with the Salinas Police Department.

About 8 a.m., a resident of an apartment complex in the 900 block of Heather Circle, who was aware of the Amber Alert, saw the minivan and notified a maintenance worker, who drove around the complex and found the van with the girl inside.
