Driver captures terrifying moment semi-truck loses control on icy highway.

After getting stuck in traffic behind two semi trucks on south bound Interstate 95 in New Jersey, a man started video recording the scene while waiting for the trucks to clear out of the way. The driver who captured the crash on camera says in the video’s YouTube description that he was stuck behind two immobile trucks when he pulled out his phone to take a photo. Several multi-car pileups — including one involving dozens of vehicles — in icy conditions on interstates in the Philadelphia area claimed at least four lives and injured dozens on Sunday as hundreds of crashes were reported across eastern Pennsylvania. The condition of the driver wasn’t immediately known, though the YouTube user who uploaded the video, MrLegolize, wrote that he checked to make sure everyone was “alright.” The video was uploaded on Monday. “Once I turned off camera, I called in 911 and reported the accident.

After arrival of NJ State Trooper and his dismissal confirming that he does not require my presence, I left the scene,” the man wrote in the video’s description.
