Bradley Knudson’s video to daughter’s racist bullies goes viral.

The father of alleged social media bullies lost his job two days after a video surfaced on the Internet with malicious voice mail recordings targeted at the victim’s father. The explosion of social media is a remarkable thing, allowing humankind to reach out from our basements and give the world a hug, become instantly famous or more commonly, show the world ourselves at our weakest and dumbest.MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The family of the Prior Lake father who is accused of retaliating in the wake of his kids’ alleged cyber bullying has responded to the national attention the incident has attracted.Brad Knudson, whose daughter is adopted, said the family had dealt with ‘a little bit of racism’ in the past but that he and his wife were able to dismiss it as it was directed against them and not their daughter.

Bradley Knudson, from Prior Lake, Minnesota, recorded the messages his adopted African-American daughter received via snapchat and played them as part of a YouTube video. The latter is what happened this week when a couple of kids used Snapchat, which allows short video messages that disappear in a few seconds, to yell insults and racial epithets at a Prior Lake teen. Recently, Brad Knudson posted a video on YouTube to show people how his 14-year-old daughter was being bullied via Snapchat, a social media app that sends pictures and video that are only available for a short time before being deleted. The girl’s father found out, and after the fourth racist message to her, Brad Knudson used his phone to make a video of the exchange between the twin brothers and his black adopted daughter.

In the clip, which has amassed almost 638,000 views since it was uploaded earlier this week, he reveals how he approached the parents of the twin bullies but was told there was nothing wrong with what was said. “I just found out our daughter did not take this issue as seriously as Wendy and I. Brad Knudson’s daughter Dierdra was the victim of malicious SnapChat messages allegedly sent by Puro’s children, a set of twin boys who attend Prior Lake High School in Minnesota. What a few years ago would have been a talk on the phone between two dads and a reprimand to the kids turned into viral spanking for all parties involved. He then went to the police, saying that the child of a family friend had committed suicide over bullying and he couldn’t have the abuse ‘hanging over them’.

According to KMSP, Puro’s employer confirmed that as of Jan. 21, he was no longer associated with the financial firm, where he worked as an independent contractor. The n-word is something I was taught at a very young age was not appropriate. “I am extremely saddened and disappointed because of this video she has discredited the message that we wanted to convey. But Mr Knudson was shocked when he finally got in touch with the twins’ father via the police and the man told him he was ‘crazy’, said he did the same things ‘when he was a kid’ and claimed the family make jokes ‘using this word’ all the time.

It is still truly an epidemic and social media has allowed us to bully individuals 24-hours a day, seven days a week no matter where that person lives.” His video received applause from followers such as Tyra Anderson who posted: “So sad and so cruel. In a post under the video, Mr Knudson said he was ‘extremely saddened and disappointed’ to discover later his daughter had used the n-word twice herself in Snapchat videos because it ‘discredited the message [he] wanted to convey’. ‘Regardless of your skin color I and my wife do not tolerate this word.

In the video, Knudson said that after police spoke to the children at school, he communicated by phone with Puro, who denied that his children had done anything wrong. I just don’t know what to do other than I love my daughter, and I don’t want her to end up committing suicide because of freaking morons like this,” he added. “Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools is aware of the YouTube video. On Friday, the Puro family issued an apology, surprising no one by saying Deron was under the influence of pills and alcohol and didn’t remember the phone calls.

We didn’t think any of that would happen.” “We are trying to prevent bullying and racism and people are trying to defend us by using bullying, and it is just a perpetual cycle and it has to stop,” he said. In the rare cases when someone sends a racist rant from their work e-mail — it does happen — I have forwarded them back to the place where they work — after giving the writer a chance to apologize. Watson said there is even a page on Tumblr that encourages people to target those who post racist comments online, then find their employers and try to get them fired. “The Internet is a powerful way to shed light on these things, but it can take on a life of its own,” Watson said. “These things can also backfire, especially when children are involved.” That’s how we got to a place where some childish name-calling ended up as a national hate fest.
