Flight diverted after disturbance, escorted by fighter jets.

DENVER (AP) — An international flight from Las Vegas to Frankfurt made an emergency landing at Denver International Airport escorted by two F-16 fighter jets Friday night after what officials called a “disturbance on the plane.” A pilot on the Condor Airlines Boeing 767 reported an in-flight emergency, and the fighter jets were sent as a precaution, said Air Force Capt. NORAD referred questions about the in-flight emergency to the Federal Aviation Administration, which did not immediately return phone calls seeking comment.
