The bodies of Mark and Debby Constantino were discovered barricaded inside their adult daughter’s apartment in Sparks just hours after the killing of Constantino’s roommate in Reno. The Sparks Police Department identified Mark Constantino and his estranged wife Debby Constantino — who appeared on the Travel Channel’s “Ghost Adventures” series — as the victims in Tuesday afternoon’s incident in Sparks.

Paranormal investigators and , and a third unidentified man, were killed on Tuesday, Sept. 22, in Sparks, Nevada, in what appears to be a domestic violence incident turned deadly. Zak Bagans, host of Ghost Adventures, called it a “dark day” while a friend of Debby Constantino posted from the couple’s Twitter account urging people to speak out against domestic abuse. Deputy Chief Tom Robinson, a Reno police officer, told the Reno-Gazette Journal that the suspect told police: “Give me 15 minutes to gather my thoughts or I’ll kill her.” The unidentified man was believed to have been found by a woman he lived with. The couple, who were electronic voice phenomena (EVP) experts, have had numerous recent run-ins with the law due to domestic violence complaints, KTVN also reports.

Mark Constantino had recently been charged with kidnapping and domestic related charges and there had been a protection order in effect for Debby, the department added. Fans and former colleagues have flocked to the page to pay tribute to the couple they describe as “the nicest people,” and to share memories of ghost hunting with them.
