Firefighters Follow Cries of ‘Help,’ Find Parrots.

Officials say that when firefighters arrived at a house fire near Boise Friday night, they investigated cries of “Help!” and “Fire!” and, instead of the elderly woman they were expecting, they found a pair of parrots, KBOI2 reports. The spokesman says both parrots were fine after being given oxygen—and after being taken from the building, the noisier of the pair started imitating the sirens she heard.
