Burbank police release suspect in woman’s murder, arrest new suspect.

BURBANK, Calif. (AP) — Police say a man arrested in the death of a woman found stabbed at his Burbank home has been released, and another man has been arrested. Police initially suspected the 49-year-old resident of the home, Brian Thomas Lowe, of involvement in the woman’s death because he was uncooperative during questioning and offered conflicting statements, according to Burbank Police Officer Joshua Kendrick.A 28-year-old Hesperia man was arrested early Tuesday morning on suspicion of murder, two days after he allegedly used a knife to kill a woman inside a Burbank home and a day after police accused a different man of the crime. Andrade’s statements reportedly led detectives to the suspected murder weapon, a knife, which was recovered in Burbank, though police declined to reveal exactly where.

According to county jail records, Andrade was picked up by deputies from the sheriff’s East Los Angeles Station around 2 p.m. and booked on an unspecified misdemeanor charge.
