1 Killed, 1 Injured After Shooting In Livermore CVS Pharmacy Parking Lot.

LIVERMORE, Calif. – Police have identified one of two suspects in a shooting in the parking lot of a Northern California shopping center that left one man dead and another wounded.LIVERMORE (CBS SF) — Detectives obtained a warrant Sunday morning for the arrest of a West Oakland man they suspect is connected to a Saturday night shooting in Livermore that killed one man and wounded another, according to police. The gunman, who fatally shot one person and injured the other at a CVS pharmacy at 1500 First St. in Livermore, remains on the loose after several officers raided the West Oakland home on the 600 block of Center Street just before 6 a.m., authorities said. Sunday Livermore police served a search warrant at Brown’s home in the vicinity of Center and Eighth streets with the assistance of the Oakland Police Department.

Police had tracked the alleged killer, identified as 18-year-old Jason Alexander Brown, to his Oakland home after discovering a BMW that may be tied to the Livermore shooting parked behind the house, said Livermore police Sgt. Oakland police also reported a standoff in that area around 1 a.m. after suspects in an unspecified crime reportedly barricaded themselves inside a residence. Saturday when at least one gunman opened fire with a high-powered rifle on two men in their 20s who were inside a vehicle in the CVS parking lot, Goard said.

Authorities obtained a description of the suspect’s vehicle, a black 2006 BMW 325i with red racing stripes on the hood, after interviewing witnesses.
