Deadly officer-involved shooting inside metro fast food restaurant.

When police entered the restaurant, there was a confrontation immediately and a police officer opened fire, hitting and killing the suspect, who is only identified as a man. Police have not elaborated on details, but Plymouth Police Chief Michael Goldstein told the station that an officer “engaged” with a man who was “causing some problems.” The responding officer fired at the man, killing him, Goldstein said. The parents of one of the Arby’s employees who was working at the time of the incident told the Star Tribune that their son called home to tell them about the incident, saying that someone had died.

KARE adds that the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension are assisting the Plymouth Police Dept. in the investigation.
