Friday The 13th Historically Lucky For Mega Millions Lottery In Michigan; Jackpot Up To $200 Million.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Ohio has a winner! While many people won’t cross paths with black cats or walk under ladders on Friday the 13th, one thing that shouldn’t be avoided is playing the Michigan Lottery.

In addition to the large jackpot, there are eight additional ways to win cash prizes ranging from $1 to $1 million dollars from the purchase of a $1 ticket. A lottery spokeswoman says a player used automatic lotto in selecting what turned out to be the winning $200 million lineup in Friday’s Mega Millions draw. The winning ticket in tonight’s Mega Millions drawing could be worth $200 million. (Peggy Turbett, The Plain Dealer) CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Ohio Lottery’s three largest games offer combined jackpots of nearly $275 million this weekend, with the lion’s share of that available tonight. Spokeswoman Sandra Neal says the ticket is worth $120 million and was purchased at Blendon Drive Thru in Westerville, about 16 miles north of Columbus.

Tonight, an estimated $200 million Mega Millions jackpot is up for grabs after no one matched Tuesday’s winning numbers of 8, 17, 20, 45 and 71 with the Mega Ball of 4. Kendall Warren, of Kalamazoo, won a $27 million jackpot on Friday, May 13, 2011, and Kelsey Zachow, of Port Huron, won a $66 million jackpot on Friday, June 13, 2014. Since nobody matched Wednesday’s winning Powerball numbers of 4, 26, 32, 55 and 64 with the Power Ball of 18, the jackpot for Saturday’s drawing will be $60 million. Jackpot winners will have to choose between a one-time payment or a 30-year annuity, so contacting a financial advisor before signing over your ticket at your state’s lottery headquarters is important.
