1 Person Killed, 17 Hurt After Greyhound Bus Accident In Arlington.

A woman was killed and a man was seriously injured early this morning when a Greyhound bus hit their disabled SUV on Interstate 30 in Arlington, authorities say.

A caller reported that an SUV had been driving erratically before crashing into the concrete divider that separates the HOV lane from the main lanes, Arlington police said. The car carrying the critically-injured man and the woman who died crashed into a barrier and stalled before it was hit by the Greyhound, authorities said. MedStar, the Fort Worth-based medical emergency service, sent its am-bus to the scene, a vehicle normally reserved for mass casualty incidents, officials said. A man, who was also in the SUV, was airlifted to a hospital, and 16 people on the bus were taken to hospitals with non-life threatening injuries, authorities said.
