1 Person Killed, 17 Hurt After Greyhound Bus Accident In Arlington.

A woman died Sunday morning after the vehicle she was traveling in stalled on a North Texas interstate after crashing into a barrier and was hit by a Greyhound bus. A caller reported that an SUV had been driving erratically before crashing into the concrete divider that separates the HOV lane from the main lanes, Arlington police said. MedStar, the Fort Worth-based medical emergency service, sent its am-bus to the scene, a vehicle normally reserved for mass casualty incidents, officials said. A man, who was also in the SUV, was airlifted to a hospital, and 16 people on the bus were taken to hospitals with non-life threatening injuries, authorities said.

Cook said that just minutes before the bus hit the vehicle, authorities had gotten a call that a vehicle being driven erratically had hit a concrete barrier and become disabled.
