Phoenix police identify five family members found shot to death.

A gunman in a north Phoenix home shot and killed his two brothers, his mother and sister-in-law before turning the gun on himself following a business dispute, police said Friday. Five family members are dead after a man reportedly killed two of his brothers, their mother and one of the brother’s wives, in what police say was a dispute over a family business. The victims have been identified as brothers Reda Diaeddinn, 38, and Dodi Fayed, 56; their mother, Kenza Benzakour, 76; and sister-in-law Meriem Ben Yahia, 26; police spokesman Sgt. PHOENIX — Five adults were found dead inside a Phoenix area home after a shooting Thursday in a suspected dispute about the family’s business, police said.

During an hours-long standoff before the bodies were found, police used a megaphone to try to communicate with the occupants of the home, addressing the family in Arabic. Because the HOA allowed only two vehicles in the driveway at any one time, the family purchased a home in an adjacent neighbourhood in order to park their fleet, according to the newspaper. A police perimeter remained in place well into the night, as investigators padded around the scene in booties to document evidence and detectives went door to door.
