Police respond to reports of gunman in two Iowa cities.

DAVENPORT, Iowa — Police say a man has killed himself outside an eastern Iowa business, shortly after officers responded to shots fired at an office building that houses a military recruiting center. Police in eastern Iowa said a gunman fatally shot himself near a prosthetic device factory shortly after they received calls of a shooter nearby, next to a Marine recruiting center.

We will provide further details as they are confirmed; however, current reports are that it appears to have been a shooting in a civilian/commercial facility next to the Marine Corps recruiting office. Bettendorf police spokeswoman Lauran Haldeman tells the Quad-City Times (http://bit.ly/1KBjIFR ) a male suspect died Monday afternoon after a self-inflicted gunshot wound near a business that provides custom prosthetics and braces.
