American man ‘stabbed parents over fast food order’.

NEW ORLEANS — Authorities say a man faces charges in Louisiana accusing him of killing his father and stabbing his mother because they ordered fast food and didn’t get any for him. Jefferson Parish Sheriff Newell Normand said Ronald was visiting his parents from his home in Mississippi when an argument broke out over a fast food order. Ronald Pritchett, 32, of Purvis, Mississippi, faces charges of second-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder and auto theft in the New Orleans suburb of Jefferson Parish, said Col. Ronald reportedly grabbed a knife, kicked his parents’ bedroom door open and started stabbing them before escaping in his father’s Chevrolet Suburban.

The couple’s eldest son, Percival Pritchett, Jr, said the incident was a “shocking situation”. “Nobody expects this type of thing to happen to their family,” he said. “When somebody takes your daddy’s life, completely short, from the way it’s supposed to be, then you’re not prepared for that. “He’s not prepared for that because that’s not how it was supposed to end.” Police said Ronald Pritchett stole his parents SUV and drove it to his home near Hattiesburg, Mississippi, after the stabbing. He said deputies checked several relatives’ homes before locating Percival Pritchett’s tan Chevrolet Suburban at a house where detectives were told Ronald Pritchett was in a “mother-in-law” outbuilding.
