Rand Paul Uses Benghazi to Slam Hillary Clinton’s Leadership Skills: ‘It Goes to a Really Poor Judgement’.

The next U.S. president needs to recognize the importance of good judgement when it comes to national security, something Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton has lacked, Sen. Rand Paul got his wish as the state Republican Party approved his push to hold a caucus instead of a presidential primary, allowing him to run concurrently for re-election to the Senate and for president.

And when you put yourself at risk and the country at risk with emails potentially being exposed to enemies, I think it goes to a really poor judgement,” Paul said. Paul has repeatedly attacked Clinton over her handling of the attack and has accused her of knowing about the transfer of Benghazi weapons that eventually wound up in the possession of terrorist groups, potentially even the Islamic State. He has also said “there’s a very good chance” Clinton lied to him during a congressional hearing when she addressed his concerns about those weapons. “I think there’s no way that Hillary Clinton did not know about this. According to a new Public Policy Polling survey, Paul currently rounds out the bottom of the top 10 Republican candidates in New Hampshire, with 3 percent support compared to Donald Trump at 35 percent, Ohio Gov.

It cheered lustily as Ron Paul called for a non-interventionist foreign policy and criticized restrictions on civil liberties for reasons of national security. Rand Paul was a combative presence at the first Republican candidates’ debate, launching an early attack on Donald Trump, then arguing with New Jersey Gov. The Kentucky caucus will not only come after the Iowa caucus and New Hampshire, South Carolina and Florida primaries, but also just after the so-called “SEC primary.” That Tuesday, March 1, several Southern states and others will vote. Paul addressed his polling numbers Tuesday and said it’s important for people to “not get too carried away with themselves” as around two-thirds of people polled still say they’re undecided of who they’ll vote for. He also said his numbers had begun to drop before his campaign attacked Trump’s “fake conservativeness” and have remained relatively the same since.

This trip to Alaska, Paul’s first to the state, is the first stop for Paul’s western tour which also includes stops in Idaho, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. President Gerald Ford, arriving by Coast Guard cutter at a waterfront rally, was confronted by a blockade of fishing boats, their owners protesting federal court rulings on Indian fishing rights. President Reagan’s limo was struck by a projectile, and a musical group calling itself the Ad Hoc Anti-Fascist Marching Band serenaded outside as the Gipper spoke to an American Legion Convention. Democrats don’t have a candidate to run against Paul in Kentucky yet, but they spent big to try to oust Senate GOP Leader Mitch McConnell last year, and lost.

So confident are the Democrats that President Obama and ex-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have largely confined themselves to pricey fundraisers, although Obama visited the Oso mudslide last year.
