Shooting at high school in South Dakota wounds principal.

HARRISBURG, S.D. — The principal of a South Dakota high school was shot and lightly wounded Wednesday in a shooting at the school, but authorities said a suspect was in custody and no students were reported hurt. The Sioux Falls Argus Leader reports Lein is in stable condition and the shooter is in custody, according to Lincoln County State’s Attorney Tom Wollman. Nick Pohlmann, who lives just across the street from the school and has a son who is a senior, said he found out about the shooting through a friend who called him asking if his son was OK.
