Immediate lock-down reported at San Antonio campus after alleged sightings of an armed individual.

SAN ANTONIO (AP) — A brief lockdown has been lifted at a San Antonio university after a report of an armed person on campus turned out to be prompted by a sighting of a security guard. The University of the Incarnate Word tweeted early Wednesday morning that the campus was locked down after university police received “another report of a possible armed individual.” It was the second such report over several hours. Garcia says the university has advised students and others “to take caution if on campus” and that anybody not on campus should stay away while authorities search the area.
