‘Saved by the Bell’ Star Dustin Diamond Pleads Not Guilty in Stabbing Case.

The actor, who is best known for playing Screech in the hit 1990s television series, is facing charges of recklessly endangering safety, concealing a weapon and disorderly conduct following the incident last month. ‘Dustin continues to believe the legal process will exonerate him and he is undaunted by the work that lies ahead,’ said the actor’s lawyer Thomas Alberti.MILWAUKEE — Actor Dustin Diamond, who played the nerdy Screech on the early ’90s sitcom “Saved by the Bell,” pleaded not guilty Thursday to charges related to the stabbing of a man during a Christmas bar fight, according to court records in Wisconsin.

According to reports the actor and his fiancee were at the Grand Ave Saloon in Port Washington, Wisconsin, when they got into a brawl with another group of people over claims that one of them had been harrassing Schultz. In a fight that ensued, Diamond stabbed a man with a switchblade, causing a wound that was not life-threatening, according to the complaint and to the police.
