Bus driver arrested after rollover injures 5 students.

BOULDER COUNTY – The woman driving the school bus that rolled over on Highway 7 Monday afternoon – injuring multiple students – has been arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs, according to Colorado State Patrol. — A school bus carrying eight students flipped over onto its side after school Monday afternoon sending six people including the driver to the hospital. Two of those students were seriously injured – the rest sustained minor injuries, according to CSP. “It seemed like there were protocols in place and everyone was getting together every couple of minutes for an incident report as soon as more information came in,” mom Janet Benter said. “And that’s what we do, and that was impressive, and that made me feel calm.” Burris will be booked into the Boulder County Jail once she’s released from the hospital.

Witnesses told FOX31 the most severe injuries includeD cuts and a dislocated shoulder. “I wasn’t scared,” said fourth grader Tyler Fillweber. “When the bus was sideways my seat was up on the roof basically so I fell completely down.”
