Cooler, less humid end to April.

The search for a 78-year-old woman reportedly abducted overnight in Jacksonville, Fla., was expanded to the metro area early Thursday after one of the woman’s credit cards was used just south of Atlanta. Jacksonville police are investigating the possible abduction of Susan Lockwood Boxx from a neighborhood off 103rd near the WestBeltway (on Sonora Drive). Today, the Washington Post reports a prisoner sharing a police transport van claims he could hear Gray “banging against the walls” of the vehicle and believed that he “was intentionally trying to injure himself”.

From Boston to New York to Indianapolis and Washington, D.C., crowds demonstrated Wednesday over the death of 25-year-old Freddie Gray, who mysteriously suffered a spinal injury that ended his life. This morning, we’re hearing from the Southside pediatric dentist, who is now under investigation, after allegations surfaced that he was hurting children in his care.
