Flight from Indianapolis to Los Angeles diverted to Kansas City because of ‘unruly’ passengers.

Authorities said a Southwest Airlines flight headed from Indianapolis to Los Angeles was diverted to Kansas City International airport on Sunday because several passengers were being “unruly”. Southwest has been under scrutiny in news and social media this week, after two incidents at Chicago’s Midway airport saw passengers of Middle Eastern appearance become the subject of suspicion from other flyers. On Sunday an FBI spokeswoman, Bridget Patton, said three people were detained for questioning after Flight 5929 landed in Kansas City around 7.50am on Sunday. She says the flight crew had described their behavior as “unruly.” Patton said she couldn’t provide additional details about what the passengers were doing.
