Local TV Meteorologist Returns To The Air After Shooting.

EDDY, Texas A Texas meteorologist who was shot last month outside the Waco area TV station where he works has returned to the air — wearing a Superman T-shirt. The forecaster is a Superman fan, and members of KCEN’s on-air and production staffs were wearing Superman T-shirts that displayed the words “Crawford Strong” on the back Monday morning. Crawford was shot in the abdomen and grazed in the head and shoulder after the gunman confronted him on Dec. 17 as he sat in his car preparing to leave after walking out of the TV studio. Two nearby construction workers came to his aid, Wilson said, and a DPS trooper who arrived a short time later also helped administer first aid until paramedics arrived.
