Student ‘molested’ by TSA agent in LaGuardia bathroom.

A TSA security officer at LaGuardia Airport was busted for molesting a 21-year-old tourist from Utah after luring her into a bathroom under the pretense that she needed to be searched, authorities said Friday. When he was done, he told the victim he wasn’t going to check her luggage, then, in an apparent continuation of the ruse, said into his cell phone, “She’s clear — she doesn’t have any weapons or knives,” Brown said. “As such, we expect our employees to conduct themselves with integrity, professionalism, and with respect for the public we serve,” he added. “When our employees fail to meet these fundamental ethical standards, we will hold our personnel appropriately accountable.” Two witnesses — women who work at the airport near where the pair passed — were able to help provide a description that matched the heavyset Oquendo, sources said. Following the incident, the victim told her traveling companion what happened and they went to a TSA supervisor and Port Authority police, 1010 WINS’ Carol D’Auria reported. “I’m really shocked that for one, that he would be able to pull that off,” she said. “Even having your bag searched can be an invasive feeling, let alone something like that.” “Castro: Is that something you’ve ever worried about?

Not me personally because I’m going to defend myself, but it makes you really terrified,” said one traveler. “TSA holds its employees to the highest standards.
