Metal band The Ghost Inside involved in fatal bus crash.

While local reporters are on the scene and live-updating through Twitter, we have confirmed through Dave Summers (tour manager for the Wonder Years) that all members of the band and crew are alive and accounted for.L.A. metalcore outfit the Ghost Inside were involved in a bus accident on Thursday (Nov. 19) that has taken the lives of two and left three of the band’s members in critical condition. As originally reported last night, the band were travelling through Texas on their US tour when their bus suffered a horrific collision with an 18 wheel truck. First of all, we can confirm the incredibly sad news that both the driver of The Ghost Inside’s tour bus and the driver of the truck passed away as a result of the crash.

The band has set up a Gofundme page in an attempt to crowd source funds “to cover the band’s medical bills and equipment losses as well as funeral expenses incurred during this tragic event”, according to the page. Andrew Tkaczykt’s brother Nick confirmed what had happened to Andrew with a post online late last night: “For those not in the know, my brother Andrew was airlifted to the hospital this morning after his bus was involved in an accident.

We’ll keep you up to date as more details come to light. “According to CBS reporter Lashay Wesley, the accident took place just a few miles East of the USA border patrol checkpoint on United States 62/180″. He is currently in ICU and may require surgery. “I ask out of respect to contact me instead of my other family members with any questions or inquiries, as I will handle it due to my parents being extremely distraught right now. As most people would immediately appreciate all these things together will amount to a large amount of expenses so if anyone has any money they would like to donate they can do so at https://www.gofundme.com/aqb5umd8.
