Ex-congressman Aaron Schock might be missing.

CHICAGO (AP) — Where is Aaron Schock? An attorney for a campaign donor suing the former Illinois congressman Aaron Schock has told a federal judge he cannot locate the Republican who resigned in March amid questions about his spending. Foster donated $500 to Schock’s campaign and wants him to repay millions of campaign dollars on grounds the Peoria politician tricked contributors into believing him. The Chicago Sun-Times reports (http://bit.ly/1JbTV8C ) that Kurowski said Wednesday in court in Chicago that he can’t find Schock to serve him with the lawsuit, a legal formality in such civil cases. Schock, who has been the subject of gay rumors since taking office, resigned from Congress on March 31, and is currently under a federal investigation.

Schock used to populate his Instagram feed with his many world adventures but media scrutiny about his lavish offices and attractive male associates led him to make it private. The disappearance is particularly ironic given Schock’s previous proclivity to post pictures of himself in exotic locales, preferably in poses that show off his athletic prowess and well-waxed chest. So far six of them have been served with subpoenas to testify before a grand jury investigating whether Schock misspent campaign and Congressional funds.
