CHP Reporting Woman Who Fell Or Jumped Off Bay Bridge May Have Been Seen Exiting Water.

(CBS SF) — The search for a woman who reportedly fell or jumped off the Bay Bridge Wednesday morning following a traffic crash on the bridge is continuing, and the California Highway Patrol is now following up on a report of a woman seen getting out of the water after the incident. A lady that was contained in the automotive made her method to the guardrail whereas making an attempt to keep away from the officers after which fell off the bridge. The CHP reported just before 6 a.m. there was information a woman allegedly exited the water, just under two miles from location where the crash occurred. It all started at 2:06 this morning, when a crash was reported in eastbound Bay Bridge traffic just east of the Treasure Island off-ramp, a CHP spokesperson says.

As officers approached the women, one of them climbed the rail of the bridge, but “as the officer was about 50 yards away, she began to slip and fall,” CHP Sgt.
