New details about the Xiaomi 14 Ultra continue to surface online. This time, the global version of the device has appeared on Geekbench, while renowned leakers have hinted at a major wireless charging improvement from the Xiaomi 13 Ultra and the prospect of a February 2024 launch in some capacity.

Xiaomi’s next flagship smartphone appears to have stopped by Geekbench on its way to market. As the screenshot below shows, someone has benchmarked ‘Xiaomi 24030PN60G’, an unreleased smartphone. Typically, Geekbench does not provide too many device details.

For example, the benchmark listing does not link 24030PN60G to a retail model name. However, 24030PN60G was seen five months ago alongside 24030PN60C on IMEI databases and within MIUI code. According to GSMChina, Xiaomi associated both model numbers with the codename ‘aurora’, which Geekbench lists under the motherboard section of its 24030PN60G listing.

Additionally, Geekbench tacitly confirms that there will be a global counterpart to 24030PN60C, denoted by the ‘G’ suffix in 24030PN60G. Moreover, the same listing reveals that 24030PN60G utilises the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, seen below as ARM implementer 65 architecture 8 variant 0 part 3458 revision 1. On top of that, Geekbench highlights that Xiaomi has complemented the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with 16 GB of RAM, matching the Xiaomi 14 Pro. Currently, Xiaomi is thought to be working towards delivering a Xiaomi 13 Ultra successor using Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset, earmarking 24030PN60G and 24030PN60C as global and Chinese versions of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, respectively.

Supposedly, the move to Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 silicon will coincide with the adoption of faster wireless charging, too. Writing on Weibo, Digital Chat Station asserts that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra may support 80 W wireless and 100 W wired charging, which would both be upgrades over the equivalents that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra provides. For now, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is thought to be arriving as soon as next month, although it remains to be seen in what capacity.
