‘Kekkon Yubiwa Monogatari’ Gets Second Season
The 12th and final episode of Kekkon Yubiwa Monogatari (Tales of Wedding Rings) television anime announced a second season on Saturday. The official website revealed one supporting cast member and a teaser visual (pictured).
Miyu Tomita (Sentouin, Hakenshimasu!) is joining the cast as Morion.
The first season produced by Staple Entertainment began airing on January 6. Crunchyroll streamed the anime worldwide, with subtitles and dubs in multiple languages, excluding Asia.
The anime adapts Maybe‘s fantasy romance manga, which began serializing in Monthly Big Gangan in March 2014. Square Enix shipped the 14th volume in December 2023.
Crunchyroll began releasing the manga digitally in May 2015. Yen Press licensed the manga in English in July 2017 and released the 13th volume in December 2023.
Synopsis
When Satou’s best friend, Hime, tells him that she’s moving, he decides to follow. After crashing her wedding in another world, he ends up as the groom when she suddenly kisses him! Prophecy states that her husband is destined to be the Ring King-a hero of immense power who will save the world from the Abyssal King!
