Round Hill
Round Hill Music has added former American Idol judge Randy Jackson and Shorebreak founder John Greenberg as advisors.
SESAC Music Group
SESAC Music Group has brought on Andy Bodkin, previously with Out of the Ark Music, as president of international for its music services division.
Additionally, the company has elevated Rose Cook from SVP of operations to music services COO and upped Monica Hertz, who signed on with SESAC Music Group’s namesake PRO more than six years back, to senior director of operations.
Warner Chappell Music
Atlantic Records and Zync Music vet Shelby DiPerri is now Warner Chappell’s VP of creative sync. Plus, the Warner Music-owned publisher has promoted over five-year team member Jenni Pfaff to EVP of strategy, integration, and operations.
Downtown Music Holdings
Former FUGA head Pieter van Rijn is officially CEO of Downtown Music.
MaMA Music & Convention
As part of its “most significant structural transformation” to date, France’s MaMA has announced the retirement of co-founder Daniel Colling. Fellow co-founder Fernando Ladeiro-Marques “has taken ownership” of the event and is eyeing expansions “into new territories.”
More immediately, ahead of its 2024 edition in Paris this October, MaMA has named 10-year consultant Emmanuel Legrand coordinator of its Grands Débats conference program and tapped entrepreneur Emily Gonneau to curate the innovation-focused Invent conference stream.
MaMA has also enlisted journalist Flavien Appavou to coordinate Le CosyLab (a “forum on new ideas and social trends”) and hired former Festival TransAmériques project manager Elise Yacoub as coordinator of the happening itself.
Nettwerk Music Group
Nettwerk has boosted almost seven-year team member Angus Blair to SVP of A&R for the UK and the EU, while former 9PR deputy head of press James Crosley has joined as publicity director for the UK and the EU.
Recording Academy
The Recording Academy has officially promoted over four-year higher-up Adam Roth to EVP of global partnerships and business development.
ASM Global
Square Circles Creative Solutions founder and former AEG Asia Pacific SVP Matthew Lazarus-Hall has come aboard ASM Global as EVP of entertainment and content for Australia and Asia.
YG Entertainment
YG has named as CEO Yang Min-seok, the brother of the K-pop company’s founder.
