Betsson, a leading global sports betting and gaming operator, has announced its partnership as the main sponsor of the BNP Paribas Nordic Open – the largest tennis tournament in the Nordics and the oldest indoor tournament in the world.
Betsson’s previous tennis engagements include having former player Jonas Björkman as an ambassador and sponsoring ATP tournaments in Latin America.
Originally known as the Stockholm Open, the tournament was founded in 1969 and has hosted legendary players such as John McEnroe, Björn Borg, Ivan Lendl, and Roger Federer. This year’s competition, starting on October 12, will be broadcast on public TV. As part of the sponsorship, Betsson will have a prominent presence during the matches, organize on-site activities, and offer betting odds on all matches.
