The ‘Last cycle for every MLB team’ quiz
This time last year, Wyatt Langford was coming off a 21 home run, 57 RBI season for Florida and waiting to learn which organization would take him in the 2023 MLB draft. The Rangers took him with the fourth overall pick, and 263 days later Langford made his MLB debut. 94 days after that, Langford hit for the cycle on ESPN’s “Sunday Night Baseball,” becoming the first Rangers rookie to achieve the feat since Oddibe McDowell in 1985 and joining Cincinnati’s Elly de la Cruz as the only players to do it in the first 60 of their career games since 2007.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Regardless of how the rest of Langford’s career plays out, his name will always be etched in Rangers history. With that being said, can you name the last player to hit the cycle for every MLB franchise? Five minutes are on the clock.
Good luck!
