Sonority is the latest iOS release from Ash Games in a world where music is magic
  • Sonority is a new indie game from Ash Games set to hit iOS
  • In the world of Sonority you’ll use music to solve puzzles
  • Explore a world left behind by the mysterious preceptors of music

Upcoming game Sonority is Ash Games’ latest release on iOS. In this musically-inspired puzzler, set in a world where songs are magic, you’ll need to use both your ears and your mind to solve puzzles and progress.

You play as Esther, a young woman attempting to find her friend. Equipped only with a pan flute you’ll need to rediscover lost songs and mossy works of art. Aided by singing stones and a talking raccoon you’ll have to deal with mysterious puzzles left behind by the legendary preceptors of music.

Don’t worry if you’re not an expert in music, because you’ll have no experience necessary. Sonority features both English and German versions of its extensive original soundtracks, as well as multiple translations and a fully fleshed-out 3D world for you to explore.

Sound of silence

Sonority definitely has all the hallmarks of an indie darling, what with the lack of combat, focus on music and the intriguing puzzle mechanics. However, we’ve already seen plenty of attention given to Sonority, which has won Best Prototype at the German Computer Games Awards 2020.

Sonority promises to not be some mere walking simulator, as the melodies progressively become more and more complex. So you’ll really need to work both your ears and your neurons to make your way through this mysterious and picturesque world.
