Vaulted and Unvaulted in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4
The new Fortnite season is here, what’s changed in the loot pool? This is everything that’s been vaulted and unvaulted in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4.
Each new season of Fortnite brings changes to the loot pool. In this new update, we’ve got a full Battle Pass, new POIs on the C5 S4 map, but it’s the weapons that’ll have the biggest impact on how your games go. Each season the loot pool changes a lot.
By the end of the season, Chapter 5 Season 3 had one of the weirder loot pools. We had items that seemed to not fit, apparently added just to counter badly balanced cars. Then there were bizarre later-game unvaultings like med-mist that seemed completely random. We were due a big clean up.
As the last season of Fortnite Chapter 5, this might be our final round with quite a few of these Fortnite items. Not to mention that it’s another Marvel season, with the potential for old mythics to be among the Unvautled in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 weapons.
What’s changed? This is each of the guns vaulted, unvaulted, and returning in the new season.
Unvaulted in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4
New stuff is fun, but returning items have a lot of interest too. Items that weren’t in the game last season but have been brought back from Fortnite’s past.
This time there’s an interesting mix of what’s been unvaulted in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4. We’ve got some of the old Marvel items as predicted. However, more niche picks like Armored Walls, Chug Splashes, and more are back too! These are the unvaulted in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 Weapons:
- Armored Walls
- Striker Burst AR
- Hyper SMG
- Doctor Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets
- Captain America’s Shield
- Flowberry
- Doom Chest
- Train Chest
- The Train!
- Chug Splash
- Avengers Chests
Some of these are pretty fun. Armored Walls were always an interesting part of the building meta. These could be a nice counter to some items if you want to continue to win Fortnite games this season.
There’s also the train that’s making a return. It’s a nice idea that proved a little pointless in execution. However, it is back if you want to claim the train chests once again.
Vaulted In Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4
Looking at what’s been vaulted in Fortnite in Chapter 5 Season 4, it’s a lot. This is one of our bigger turn arounds for the loot pool in a while. Makes sense considering how much random stuff got thrown into the game last season. Half the best Fortnite weapons were solely there to try and put a damper on the cars.
There’s a decent number of items that have been vaulted in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4.
- Minigun
- Combat Assault Rifle
- Thunder Birst SMG
- Tri-Beam Laser Rifle
- Nitro Splash
- Mid-Mist
- Nua-Cola
- Oscar’s Auto Frenzy Shotgun
- Warforged Assault Rifle
- Harbinger SMG
- Crash Pad Jrs
- Tow Hook Cannon
- Tactical Assault Rifle
- Heavy Impact Sniper
- Huntress DMR
- Magneto Powers
- Combat Shotgun
- Remote Explosives
- Boom Bolt
- Shield Breakers
Most of these make sense to get removed. We’ve got plenty of Chapter 5 Season 3 themed items like Nitro Fists. However, some of the stragglers from Chapter 5 Season 2 have also been taken out like DMR.
It’s a lot leaving this time. With quite a few guns unvaulted in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4, we did need the space!
New Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 Weapons
Those are all of the adjustments, what about brand new items though? Well, have to wait and see what comes in Fortnite news and updates through the season. However, we’ve also had some big ones added at launch. These are the new items at the moment:
- Dual Micro SMGs
- Sovereign Shotgun
- Monarch Pistol
- War Machine’s Arsenal
- War Machine’s Auto Turret
- War Machine’s Hover jetpack
Some of these guns feel really quite powerful. Although, we’ll have to wait a little and see if a meta with a clear counter emerges for them. We probably won’t see the vaulted in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 items back for a while though.
Out of what’s been added, these weapons do feel like some of the wackier guns too. We might be in for another chaotic season of Fortnite.
