Kala Ghoda is one of the most iconic places in South Mumbai which caters to all kinds of people. From vegan and gluten-free options to old-school bakeries, this place hosts all things of aesthetic.

Fort being one of Mumbai’s oldest business districts is named after 18th-century fortifications built by the British which is also the main entry point to the city. It is home to institutions like the Jehangir Art Gallery, David Sassoon Library, Bombay Natural History Society, Prince of Wales Museum and the National Gallery of Modern Art.

Kala Ghoda cafe

Kala Ghoda cafe has a quaint, intimate ambiance surrounded by minimal decor and open glass walls overlooking the lane. Try their ham and cheese sandwiches, cold coffee and muffins if you are there for a quick bite. For meals, try the chicken pot pie, Pesto Cheddar Melt, KGC Chef’s Salad and they also serve gluten-free versions of waffles if you are looking for guilt-free dessert options.

The Nutcracker

A bohemian little space serving delicious pancakes and a black bean burger – The Nutcracker is worth trying. It is a perfect spot for Sunday brunch so if you are planning for a good culinary experience in the city then head out to this cute little eatery in Kala Ghoda.

The Bake House
