Quavo Gives Update On Status With Offset

On Thursday, September 5, Quavo posted a message on his Instagram Story, updating fans about his relationship with Offset.

“Good Convo With My Bro @offset,” the rapper wrote along with a [silver link and folded hand emoji]. He also paired the post with his song, ‘Nothing Changed,’ featuring Takeoff.

Quavo’s update about Offset follows his reaction to the news of Rich Homie Quan’s death.

TMZ confirmed that Quan died at 34 on September 4, as The Shade Room previously reported. Quavo responded by posting a photo of Quan, the late Takeoff, and others. He wrote on the image, “May God be with US never saw this being apart of our journey.”

Fans noticed that Quavo placed a rocket emoji over Takeoff, a dove emoji over Quan, and a broken heart emoji over another man at the far end of the picture, which social media speculates to be Offset.

Offset Clears Up Beef Rumors

Fans of the former Migos members started speculating about possible issues after Quavo and the late Takeoff formed Unc & Phew. The dup released their joint album in October 2022, just a month before Takeoff’s untimely passing in November of that same year.

Despite the chatter surrounding their relationship, both Atlanta emcees linked up to honor Takeoff at the 2023 BET Awards. The pair popped out with a surprise set that saw them perform a medley of ‘Hotel Lobby’ and their hit single, ‘Bad and Boujee.’

HipHopDX notes that during his May appearance on ‘Million Dollaz Worth of Game,’ Offset discussed his strong bond with Quavo and reiterated his love for him.

“I don’t feel like I owe it to people to show how much me and bro love each other. We went through something. We don’t have to show you n****s smiles and faces, so stop doing that.”

The ‘WORTH IT’ hitmaker reassured fans that although he and Quavo faced tough times, they remain “real brothers” for life.

“I still go through shit, I know bro go through s**t. N****s love each other though, at the end of the day. We men, we real brothers, and we cool with it, so be cool with it. Don’t ever try and turn us against each other. I hate that s***. At the end of the day, it ain’t your business.” Offset continued.
