Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones will need to heavily reevaluate his franchise following their 34-10 loss to the 7-4 Houston Texans.
In a game dominated by Houston, the Cowboys managed to narrow the deficit to a touchdown by halftime but were shut out in the second half as the Texans scored 17 unanswered points.
Amidst a game flooded with poor decision-making by the Dallas sideline, the Cowboys fell to 3-7 on the season and now sit in third place in the NFC East.

Dallas has stuck by their decision to start 30-year-old veteran Cooper Rush, despite fans’ pleas to give fourth-year player Trey Lance a chance at the position during the team’s five-game losing streak.
Rush finished Monday night completing 32-of-55 throws with one touchdown, one interception and two fumbles. Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb had eight catches for 93 yards.
The quarterback was not solely to blame for the loss as another major issue for the Cowboys was their offensive line, as Rush was sacked five times.

On the other side of the ball, second-year quarterback for the Houston C.J. Stroud completed 23-of-34 passes for 257 yards, with one interception. Running back Joe Mixon added 20 carries for 109 yards and three touchdowns.
This is not the first time that Jones and the Cowboys have faced scrutiny this season.
Back in Week 6, the Cowboys suffered a brutal 47-9 loss at home to the Detroit Lions, which led to Jones admitting that it was “very concerning” and “very humbling,” according to The Athletic’s Jon Machota.

With mounting pressure continuing to build, it seems inevitable that the Cowboys will be facing a head coaching change, as Mike McCarthy’s job is hanging by a thread.
“Lots of speculation swirling about what the Cowboys will do,” ESPN’s Adam Schefter said on Monday Night Countdown. “People have even thought about Bill Belichick, having been spotted in Dallas last week. It can be confirmed Bill Belichick was in Dallas last week but it wasn’t to meet with the Cowboys, it was for a previously scheduled speaking engagement.”
Cowboys fans are leaping off the bandwagon as the team’s disappointing season continues.

About all the Cowboys can do now is fight … after the whistle. Just a bad football team playing and acting badly.

For everyone out there that’s struggling, just hold on because I promise it gets better.
The world may seem unfair…or just downright depressing…but have faith that one day YOUR favorite team will also get to play against the Cowboys.

One of the best sequences you’ll see in the NFL this year
Aubrey makes from 64 but cowboys get a first down cuz of a Head Slap
Cooper Rush almost turns it over twice, then cowboys get stopped on downs and end up with zero points, still down 2 scores

I think the NFL should put more Cowboys and Jets games in prime time, this is a really great product

#Cowboys reduced to cheap shots, tough talk and 12 men on the field.
Next Sunday, the Cowboys will look to snap their losing streak as they face the 7-4 Washington Commanders on the road.
