Eagles-Steelers Final Injury Report: George Pickens ruled OUT
The Philadelphia Eagles issued their third and final official injury report on Friday in advance of their Week 15 home game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Eagles ruled one player OUT: Britain Covey.
Covey was limited on Wednesday before being upgraded to full go on Thursday. He was a full participant again on Friday but the team still ruled him out due to a neck injury. Seems like they’re being especially cautious here. Cooper DeJean will return punts for the Eagles again in Covey’s absence. The Eagles figure to have five active wide receivers: A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, Jahan Dotson, Johnny Wilson, and Ainias Smith.
Speaking of Wilson, he missed Friday’s practice due to “illness” but he’s not listed with a game status.
In fact, all other players on the Eagles’ 53-man roster were listed without a game status.
Good news for the Birds as they take on a tough Steelers team. Can’t take being this healthy for granted so late in the season.
Sydney Brown is set to play on Sunday despite missing Wednesday’s practice and being limited on Thursday.
Jalen Hurts, Jalen Carter, Reed Blankenship, and Nakobe Dean will all play despite appearing on the injury report this week with non-rest designations.

Young and Bradberry are eligible to be activated if/when the Eagles desire to activate them. Graham is out for the season due to a triceps injury. BVS is out for the season due to a knee injury. Clark is out for the season since he was placed on IR back in May.
PITTSBURGH STEELERS INJURY REPORT (FRIDAY)
The Steelers ruled three players OUT: leading receiver George Pickens, starting safety and leading tackler DeShone Elliott, and starting defensive lineman Larry Ogunjobi.
When it comes to the Steelers’ passing attack, Pickens has accounted for 25.8% of their targets, 22.4% of their receptions, and 29.2% of their receiving yards in 2024. So, that’s a pretty significant absence for them. Their remaining receivers: Calvin Austin III, Van Jefferson, Mike Williams, Scotty Miller, and Ben Skowronek. The Eagles’ secondary should be expected to keep those guys relatively quiet.
Elliott’s had a good season for the Steelers, allowing a 84.6 passer rating when targeted and logging only three missed tackles. Pittsburgh’s defense is still very talented but this absence means one fewer good Steelers player on the field.
Ditto for Ogunjobi, who ranks fourth on the Steelers in TFLs and fifth in sacks. He’s a quality starting defensive lineman who normally doesn’t miss games.
The Steelers ruled two players QUESTIONABLE: rotational defensive tackle Montravius Adams and backup offensive lineman Calvin Anderson.
The Steelers have until 4:00 PM Eastern on Saturday to activate Adams from IR to their roster if he’s going to play on Sunday.
Anderson is a new addition to the injury report with a groin issue. If he can’t play, that’ll hurt the Steelers’ offensive line depth.
