What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?
My grandmother had 2 older brothers who played football, and she signed me up for flag football and I fell in love playing flag football and love playing with a group of men as a team.
What are your favorite moments from your football life?
Juco being able to play for a championship and we got to our goals and winning Big 12 and Big 10 championships and having team success.
What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?
Be the best version of me and becoming a leader and just improving my game wherever I can and looking out for my family and getting my goal.
If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?
Troy Polamalu, because of his knowledge of the game and his faith-based beliefs as a Christian.
Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?
My grandfather, just taking care of my family and taking us all in and providing for us and I admire his work ethic.
What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?
4-2-5, I love having a nickel out there, run fit, pass fit, and the nickel gets a lot of action.
What should we know about Kobe Savage the person?
I’m a country boy, I love the outdoors, I’m a faith-based person and I stand on all my principles in life.
What stands out about your film the most?
My ball hawking ability and relentless pursuit to the ball and ability to attack the ball in the air.
How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?
With adversity, I was under recruited, I never had the easiest path, so I always embraced it and felt like I attacked it very well.
What would a team get in a player like you?
Alot of consistency, a leader, not going to be cutting corners, and a worker willing to do whatever is needed.
What do you love the most about the game of football?
I love the physicality of the game and it’s the greatest equalizer going up against another man ready for the challenge that day.
Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?
Nikko Reed cornerback from Oregon, great technician at his game, not the tallest guy but always gets the job done.
