Whew, chileeeee! The internet is going OFF with reactions after Donald Trump hosted The White House’s reception honoring Black History Month. USA Today reports the event was held on Thursday, Feb. 20, following Trump’s order to end federal agencies’ diversity, equity, and inclusion programs. After The White House dropped footage of the long-standing tradition, social media went wild with comments. But they weren’t about Trump hosting the event — the comments were about the celebrity guests who showed up.

Donald Trump Hosts Black History Month Event With Star-Studded Guests

The Shade Room grabbed videos and photos of celebrity guest appearances, and yup, Tiger Woods and Kodak Black pulled up!

A quick clip shows Woods onstage with Donald Trump while The White House dropped pics of Kodak Black in what they called the “People’s House.” Kodak stepped out in a suit and leopard-print loafers. Another shot showed him looking out of the window.

According to USA Today, Donald Trump told the crowd he planned to fight for Black Americans and all Americans during his speech at the event. “We’re going to be fighting long and hard for Black Americans and all Americans − we’re going to be fighting for all Americans.”

Celebs Who Have Publicly Supported Trump

Tiger Woods and Kodak Black aren’t the first celebs to publicly support Donald Trump. Kodak’s been vocal about it, but other famous Black celebrities threw their support behind him during the 2024 election too.

Names like Waka Flocka Flame, Amber Rose, Lil Pump, Akbar V, Money Man, and Antonio Brown all showed love for Trump on social media while he ran against former Vice President Kamala Harris.

At the start of his presidency, Donald Trump made comments about DEI that instantly blew up online, pulling in millions of reactions. Not long after the tragic plane crash in Washington, D.C., back in January, Donnie went off on the agency’s DEI efforts, seemingly blaming them for hiring unqualified employees.

“They have to be talented, naturally talented geniuses. You can’t have regular people doing their job,” Trump said.
