What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

In high school, I played basketball, and before the football season started my dad wanted me to try out I was put on the offensive line, and I loved putting my physicality and will on other people and that’s why I love football.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

This past season we played Clemson, and it was third and sixteen going into the Clemson student section, and the quarterback got into the end zone and we got the win, and it was one of my favorite moments.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

As a football player and competitor make it into the NFL, win a Super Bowl, be an all-pro, make a Pro Bowl and the biggest goal is to get a gold jacket.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?

Jason Kelce, I would like to learn his technique and how he approached things and used his leverage and athleticism to beat competitors, and I would love to learn from a guy like him who had a lot of success in the NFL.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My father, just off of all the sacrifices he made for me and how he did so much for me and taught me how you have to be as a person and how God can help you get through anything in life.

What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?

Inside the split zone, inside zone, is a very basic play and it’s you versus the defensive lineman the split zone allows you to make a read and go into the b-gap and it’s hard for linebackers to read.

What should we know about Vershon Lee the person?

I’m a kind guy, who loves to work and comes in with a smile on his face with a job like football every day and I love to get onto the field and get better.

What stands out about your film the most?

My communication with the offensive line, my ability to pick up double teams and linebackers, my hands, my ability in the run game, and my ability to block in the passing game.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

In all challenges you have to figure out where it stems from and figure out what’s wrong and if it’s something you do you have to change it and change is necessary to get through obstacles.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A great teammate, a hard worker willing to sacrifice whatever is needed for the team and is willing to change things for himself and whatever the team needs to be changed to be successful.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

Winning and being able to find the upper hand on the opposing player or team and put in the work necessary

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Alex Huntley, him being on the defensive line seeing his explosion and hands and there are things he’s done that show he deserves more and he works hard.
