Jahri Evans to remain on the Saints staff for 2025

Former New Orleans Saints offensive lineman Jahri Evans is set to return for his third season as an assistant coach. The four-time All-Pro, who spent 12 years on the field with New Orleans, will continue to contribute to the team’s success from the sidelines.
Evans’ journey back to the Saints began in 2022 as a training camp coaching intern, marking his return to the organization following his retirement from professional football. His dedication and expertise quickly earned him a promotion to offensive assistant in 2023, where he further solidified his value to the coaching staff.
During his time coaching at the Senior Bowl, Evans openly expressed his desire to continue his coaching career with the Saints. While he remained uncertain about his future, his passion for the team was evident. Fortunately for Saints fans, Evans’ wish was granted, as he successfully navigated the recent coaching change.
Despite the transition to new head coach Kellen Moore, an official announcement regarding Evans’ continued role was not immediately forthcoming. However, keen observers noted his presence with the Saints contingent at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis. This sighting, reported by NewOrleans.Football’s Nick Underhill and several other reporters, all but confirms Evans returning to the coaching staff for the 2025 season.
