Eagles Free Agency Rumors: Multiple NFC East teams interested in signing Isaiah Rodgers

If your expectation was that impending free agent cornerback Isaiah Rodgers wouldn’t have a strong market and he’d be easy for the Philadelphia Eagles to re-sign, you may need to think again.
Rodgers is drawing interest from multiple teams ahead of the NFL’s negotiating window opening at noon on Monday, March 10. This much according to a report from Aaron Wilson.
The Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Carolina Panthers were specifically mentioned.
With the Eagles reportedly designating Darius Slay as a post-June 1, losing Rodgers doesn’t seem ideal. Even less so with him potentially going to a division rival.
If Philly is able to re-sign him, Rodgers would be a nice outside starting CB option to pair with Quinyon Mitchell next season.
If the Eagles don’t retain Rodgers, Kelee Ringo could be primed to take over that role instead. It’s also possible the team adds more competition at the position.
It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Rodgers has a “healthy market” considering that he’s a 27-year-old cornerback with starting experience and he played well off the bench in 2024.
Price tag pending, Eagles fans are rooting for a Rodgers return in 2025:
