What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

I don’t think you can find a sport that produces more exciting and fun moments than football and that’s why I pick football.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

2015 winning a bantam championship and my dad as an OCD. 2021 my first touchdown pass was to my brother Isaac to win the game against Bishop’s.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

To prove people wrong who think you can’t accomplish anything, and I would like to get on a CFL or NFL team and see what’s next for me.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?

Tom Brady, that’s someone who when I was growing up has a personal drive and mentality that I try to emulate. So, I would love to hang out with him.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My little sister, she’s a dual sport athlete and plays football and she would say she takes after me playing quarterback, but women’s football doesn’t really have a place in Canada and what she’s doing is inspiring.

What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?

I’m a quarterback and I love putting it in the air and going vertical and I like an air raid offense with a high completion rate over defenders the most.

What should we know about Silas Fagnan the person?

My compete and work ethic outweighs most people I go up against and my coaches and teammates would say that that is my biggest asset.

What stands out about your film the most?

I try to put things on my tape that to do things that most people won’t. Like running to get a first down or making a critical throw. I can run and throw on my tape as well.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

To understand that growth doesn’t happen without challenges but mentally I usually look at challenges as growth and an occasion to rise to.

What would a team get in a player like you?

The ultimate competitor and a dude who comes to work with his hard hat on every day and I’m always willing to do whatever it takes.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

Those big moments it produces where someone has to rise to the occasion and produces and those are the moments I love.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Zachary Houde, he’s a third year wide receiver but Zach’s mental ability to be on the same page with his quarterback is next to none.
