Dominique Thorne Leads Ironheart for 6 Episodes as Riri Williams

MARVEL HAS SIGNIFICANTLY slowed down its pace on the small screen, but if you’re here for this world, and this overarching story, then you’re not going to want to miss Ironheart. In case if that name sounds familiar but it’s not quite connecting, Ironheart is the superhero name of a character named Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne) who was actually first introduced into the Marvel Cinematic Universe back in 2022’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The series had already been filmed at that point and has been waiting its turn to hit the airwaves since, and now, finally, the time has come.
Riri is an MIT student who more or less immediately needs to be seen as one of the smartest characters in the MCU. She’s able to build her own version of Stark-tech, and we saw her suit (with the assistance of some Vibranium) at the end of Wakanda Forever. Now at the center of her own 6-episode Disney+ series, we’ll get to know Riri even better as she embarks on an adventure that also includes characters like The Hood (played by Anthony Ramos).
One of Ironheart‘s strongest assets is that it counts Wakanda Forever director Ryan Coogler as an executive producer. Coogler has reached a high point in his career with the release of Sinners, which is not only one of the best and most ambitious movies of the 2020s, but has been a hit with critics and audiences alike. And since Coogler introduced Riri in his last Marvel movie, he’s been an important voice behind the scenes in terms of bringing her story to life on Disney+.
Ironheart will unfold over just two weeks on Disney+—with three episodes dropping each week. So if you want to keep up with the conversation around the show, you’ll need to watch quickly and dig in. Below, we’ll make sure you don’t. miss a single episode, and know exactly when to watch.
