Cam’ron Reveals Why He Refuses To Attend The Roc Nation Brunch

Cam’ron recently opened up about why he has never attended a Roc Nation brunch, offering candid insights during a recent episode of his Talk With Flee series.

The rapper, known for his long history with Jay-Z, explained that his connection with the mogul and his role in the music industry made attending such events unnecessary for him.

I done records with Jay-Z. I was actually signed to Jay-Z’s company,” Cam’ron explained. “Actually had a joint venture with Jay-Z and Def Jam. It’s not a big deal for me to be around Jay-Z.”

Given their established professional relationship, Cam’ron sees no need to attend social gatherings centered around the Roc Nation brand.

The rapper went on to criticize the culture surrounding the event, particularly the tendency for people to gather for social status rather than meaningful interactions.

“You got a bunch of people just hanging out taking pictures,” Cam’ron asserted. “End of the day, why am I going to see ni**as I seen 100 times and then it’s really nothing to talk about?”

“As far as hanging out with n**gas,” the Diplomats founder explained. “We never had that relationship and I’m not gonna go to a brunch to try and have that relationship then.”

While the Roc Nation brunch is a high-profile event in the entertainment industry, the It Is What It Is host’s perspective shows that for some, the allure of networking and exclusivity isn’t at the top of their priorities.
