Dakota Johnson’s Favorite Sheer Bodysuit is the Key to Her Fall Party Uniform

Dakota Johnson works hard, but her Gucci lace bodysuit works harder.

On September 20, the 34-year-old actor broke out one of her favorite pieces for the brand’s Milan Fashion Week after-party. Though she sat front row at the Gucci runway show in a underwear-exposing look from their 2025 collection, she went with a much more accessible look later in the evening. Keeping the oversized leather jacket from her first look, Johnson switched out her sheer white dress for a sheer black bodysuit and jeans—an outfit formula she’s perfected over the years. Though Johnson has been pairing sheer Gucci corsets with various suits and leather pants since 2021, she wore this particular at Gucci’s Milan runway show just seven months ago. In February 2023, she paired the sexy piece with a velvet skirt suit and knee-high boots, which she later nixed in favor of red leather pants and a longer version of the suit jacket. Of course, she kept the bodysuit.

This time around, Dakota Johnson paired the bodysuit with a pair of wide-legged jeans and her Gucci leather jacket—the perfect going out look for the awkward transition from summer to fall weather. The colder it gets, the thicker the jacket. While the ensemble works with a blazer or leather jacket during the first months of fall, a long velvet coat or thick bomber jacket carry the look through winter.
